Honeysuckle Cottage is a historic home that over time has been extended and modernised but retains its charm and heritage features. It is largely hidden from view by the hedge and is set in a lush, large north-facing garden.

The cottage contains two bedrooms with queen size beds and a bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. The kitchen/living area is open plan and the fully equipped kitchen separates the living room with television and a sitting room with fireplace. A dining room features a round table and balloon back chairs that seats four.
​
There are plenty of options for enjoying outside, including sitting on the verandah and watching the sun set, enjoying a meal alfresco in the covered outdoor dining area with BBQ, reading a book on the garden bench or chatting around the fire pit.

Every aspect of the cottage and its features have been curated to ensure a luxurious and comfortable retreat.

Guests will enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine from a local wine maker Whitton Farm and are welcome to enjoy a glass of whiskey from the drinks trolley. Breakfast provisions including bread, eggs and bacon, as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate are provided. You can order local produce from @Yass2You and it will be delivered prior to your arrival to ensure an even more relaxing stay.

The Cottage includes a 55 inch 4K television, Netflix, Sonos sound bar and sound system and unlimited NBN ultra speed WIFI.

Beautiful candles are in each room to provide ambience and scents. In the colder months there are plenty of woollen blankets to use inside and out. The sumptuous mattresses are of the highest quality and Australian made. The beds are dressed in feather and down doonas and gorgeous linen with pillows that guarantee a sound sleep.

Upon request you may bring your well behaved furry friend to stay.

Our Region
Binalong is located just over one hour from Canberra and three hours from Sydney. It is approximately 16 kilometres off the Hume Highway (via Burley Griffin Way).
​
Binalong is a beautiful, quaint historic town. When in town you can have a swim, play golf and/or enjoy a coffee, a drink or a meal at one of the local businesses which offer up country hospitality. The cottage is in easy walking distance to the town.
​
You can spend the entire weekend relaxing at the cottage or use it as a base to explore the region. You can book a wine tour through @vanduvin who provides our guests with bespoke, private tours and will collect you and deliver you back to the cottage.
​
Binalong is centrally located to explore Murrumbateman wineries, Yass, Boorowa, Jugiong and Young, to name a few. Each town has a number of boutique shops that support small and local producers, cafes, pubs, wineries and wine bars.
​
The Yass Valley and Hilltops Region are beautiful, scenic and lush and well worth exploring all that nature and the built environment has to offer. There are a range of outdoor activities to enjoy. Take a picnic to Wee Jasper; cherry pick in Young or take a leisurely drive to see the canola fields - the options are endless.
